Melbourne - Australian Open , January 20 - February 2
As every year, the tennis season started in Australia with the Australian Open, 1st Grand Slam tournament. Despite the fires that ravaged part of the country, making the air quality very bad, the organizers decided to maintain the event while taking exceptional measures concerning the health of the players and the public.
Victory for the favorite Djokovic after a nice final in 5 sets against Thiem.
Surprise among women with the victory of the young American Sofia Kenin (who won her 1st Grand Slam tournament) against Garbine Muguruza.
Present in Melbourne, Henri played Legends doubles with Todd Woodbridge and commented matches on Eurosport.

Manchester - Bentley Tennis at The Mere , March 4
Interviews, meetings and dinner for Henri traveling to Manchester. It was at the Manchester Hall that the Bentley Tennis at the Mere team announced the program for the next edition, which will take place from June 17 to 19. See you there for Henri!

The Opera, a French restaurant in Luxembourg, organized "La nuit de l'Opéra", a special clubbing evening with Henri in partnership with Laurent Perrier & Munhoven champagnes. Good atmosphere!

Saint Emilion - Les vin kms de Saint-Emilion , March 7-8
Week-end in Saint-Emilion for Henri invited as godfather of the Jurade. He attended with many other guests the 5th edition of the "Vins kms de Saint-Emilion" and gave the 11 kms's start.
Nearly 2,000 people were registered and expected to run (or walk) on the various routes.
All profits will go to brain disease research.

Coronavirus - "Tennis Solidaire" auction, April 29 - May 3
Organized by Drouot, request by Charles-Antoine Brézac and supported by the French Players' Federation and Union, the "Tennis Solidaire" auction was a great success: 81040 euros were raised for the AP-HP foundation.
Many players offered prizes; it is Henri's prize (1 hour of tennis with him on one of the French Open courts!) who finished first (6200 euros) after an exceptional finish!!

Coronavirus - Live with fans ! March - May
Since the beginning of March, the world has been affected by the Coronavirus, a highly contagious and deadly virus mainly for the elderly and vulnerable people. Only a long and strict confinement can slow down its propogation. That's how it all stops... including sport and tennis.
What can we do during this special period? People being more available, many players had the idea of doing live chats.
Henri embarked on this new adventure for him and was thus able to discuss with many fans, alone or with some of his friends, and share some of his passions: parrots with Franck Havidic, cars with Mathieu Baumel, cooking with Gregg Wallace, horses with Franckie Dettori...

Originally scheduled for mid May but postponed due to the coronavirus, this conference on self-improvement with the Sud Rhin Business Club was finally held on June 23. Henri talked about his experience and how he was able to bounce back after failures.

After the forced cancellation of the Open de Guindé (coronavirus), the organizers propose the Open de la relance with Henri as ambassador. He notably played an exhibition with Mickaël Llodra.

Monaco - Enfant Star & Match's dinner , August 22
An exceptional dinner for the benefit of the association "Enfant Star & Match" founded by Fabrice Ravaux taked place on Saturday August 22 in Monaco.
Henri Leconte, godfather for several years, was there as well as many personalities.

Great news: Henri Leconte joins the team "Les Grandes Gueules du Sport" on RMC where he will be a consultant with David Douillet, Marc Madiot...
The show will take place from 11am to 1pm every weekend. Jean-Christophe Drouet (the animator) will welcome Henri regularly during the season.

US Open , August 31 - September 13
Despite the coronavirus and the still very complicated sanitary situation, US Open was played...behind closed doors. Nadal, Federer and Wawrinka in particular decided to stay at home.
Henri commented the tournament on Eurosport.
Very good quality of play despite the conditions and great victory for Osaka in 3rd sets (against Azarenka) who won this tournament for the 2nd time.
After losing the first 2 sets, against Zverev, Thiem finally wins his first Grand Slam tournament. Bravo to him, he deserved it.
Notable fact: furious, Djokovic was disqualified after throwing his racquet at a line judge...

Roland Garros , September 27- October 11
We're starting the fall with French Open this year! In an almost empty stadium (1000 people per day) because of the coronavirus pandemic, the matches took place in very humid, cold weather, with a new roof and under the spotlights in the evening. A lot of innovations therefore for this edition which promised to be unique.
In spite of these difficult conditions for him, it is once again Nadal who wins the tournament...for the 13th time!! Djokovic, though undefeated since November 2019, could do nothing. Rafa is still the strongest at French Open.
Make way for the youth among the women with the victory of the Polish Świątek, 19, against the American Kenin, 22.
French resultats: a magnificent tournament for young Hugo Gaston who goes up to 1/8th, losing in 5 sets against Thiem after a magnificent comeback and after beating Wawrinka in the previous round in 5 sets.
No Legends Trophy this year but Henri commented every day on Eurosport.

Luxembourg - Positive Thinking Tournament 2020 , October 23 / November 13
Despite the restrictions related to the coronavirus, some actualities are taking place. This is the case for the Positive Thinking Tournament 2020 played at the Tennis Club des Arquebusiers in Luxembourg on two dates: October 23rd and November 13th.
This tournament was played with Henri Leconte who played few matchs with the guests.
Everything went very well. Thanks to Damien Chasseur and this collaborators of Positive Thinking Company for these two beautiful days.
